Advisory Board

The advisory board of asp aims to continuously improve the training programs in applied sports psychology. This involves, among other things, questions regarding admission criteria and the content optimization of training in both performance and health sports. This includes ensuring that all training materials are kept up to date with the latest scientific and practical findings.

Members

The regular members of the Training Advisory Board include:

  • 2 representatives from the applied working members of asp
  • (2026-2028 Christian Zepp & Stefan Krause)
  • 2 representatives from the presidium of asp (chairperson of the board and deputy chairperson of the board)
  • (from 2025 Moritz Anderten & Jana Strahler)

The members with guest status include:

  • 1 representative from the Sports Psychology Working Group in the Economic Psychology Section of the German Psychologists Association (BDP)
  • 1 representative from the MentalGestärkt initiative
  • 1 representative from ÖBS (Austrian Federal Network of Sports Psychology)
  • 1 representative from SASP (Swiss Association of Sport Psychology)
  • 1 representative from DFB (German Football Association)
  • 1 representative from BÖP (Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists)
  • 1 representative from Athleten Deutschland

Tasks

The Advisory Board has the following tasks

  • The continuous review and, if necessary, adjustment and/or modification of the content of sports psychology training and continuing education in line with current scientific and practical standards.
  • The oversight and verification of the criteria for the qualification "sports psychologist/expert (asp curriculum for competitive sports)" according to the guidelines of the asp.
  • The establishment of framework guidelines for all curricula in the training programs at both structural and content levels.
  • The preparation and discussion of decision proposals for the asp presidency.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the asp presidency in consultation with the Advisory Board.

Am 04. März 2018 wurden die Richtlinien ein weiteres Mal per Präsidiumsbeschluss modifiziert

Am 21. Dezember 2023 wurden die Richtlinien ein weiteres Mal per Präsidiumsbeschluss modifiziert
und sind alspdf zum download hier einzusehen.

Am 19. April 2024 wurden die Richtlinien per Präsidiumsbeschluss ein weiteres Mal modifiziert.
