Presidium
The Executive Board of the Association for Sports Psychology in Germany e.V. (asp) is the central governing body of the association. It consists of the President, the Vice President of Finance/Management, and five other Vice Presidents, each responsible for a specific department. The departments are aligned with the strategic and operational areas of the asp, such as International Affairs & Research, Youth, School Sports & Education, Competitive Sports, and Health.
The President represents the association externally and takes on overarching coordination and strategic leadership. The Vice President of Finance/Management is responsible for budget planning and the financial stability of the asp. The management handles the operational implementation of the association's tasks, internal organization, and coordination of the office. The other Vice Presidents contribute their expertise in their respective departments and actively shape the development of the association.
The Executive Board is elected every two years by the General Assembly. All members of the asp are encouraged to actively participate in the association and to run for election.
Applications for a position on the Executive Board can be submitted in writing to the asp office at any time. The office is also happy to answer any questions regarding the process and requirements for candidacy.
